Chase 36

Privacy notice

Your learning data should work for you, not against you.

This notice explains what Chase 36 collects, why it is needed, how long it is kept, and the choices available to students and families.

Information Chase 36 collects

Chase 36 stores the account identity supplied by Google or Apple, ACT profile details you enter, practice answers, time per question, scores, error categories, study-plan activity, tutor conversations, pet and reward activity, friendships, challenges, referral records, support requests, and security or product events needed to operate the service.

Chase 36 does not ask for Social Security numbers, government identification, precise location, payment-card details, or the contents of a student’s Google account.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate the account, generate practice and explanations, calculate progress, personalize study plans and tutor responses, prevent reward abuse, operate private friend features, respond to support, maintain security, and improve reliability.

Practice content and tutor responses may be produced by Anthropic, Chase 36's artificial-intelligence provider. For tutor requests, Anthropic may receive the student's ACT profile, current study plan, progress statistics, recent error-log summaries, saved conversation context, and, when the student asks about a specific attempt, the exact question, answer choices, selected answer, correct answer, explanation, trap note, and timing. Chase 36 sends this information only after the student turns on the AI tutor.

Students should not enter sensitive personal, medical, financial, or school-record information into tutor chat. AI responses can be incorrect and should not be treated as professional advice.

Sharing and selling

Chase 36 does not sell personal information and does not use student data for behavioral advertising. Data may be processed by infrastructure, database, authentication, email, monitoring, and AI service providers acting for Chase 36. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect students, users, or the service.

Children and parental controls

Chase 36 uses a neutral age step during onboarding. A student who indicates that they are under 13 cannot activate social features or the optional AI tutor until a parent or guardian completes the authorization flow. Guardian authorization makes those features available, but the student must still separately turn on the AI tutor before any tutor context is sent to Anthropic. Parents or guardians may review, export, correct, revoke authorization for, or request deletion of a child's information through the account and support tools.

Schools or organizations using Chase 36 must provide any notices and permissions required for their use. Chase 36 is not a school and does not claim that consumer account data is an education record governed by a school’s FERPA obligations.

Retention

Active-account learning history and saved tutor conversations are retained so progress, plans, rewards, diagnostics, and ongoing tutor context remain useful. A signed-in student can erase all saved tutor conversations and turn off future AI-tutor access without deleting the rest of the account. Support and security records may be retained for a limited period needed to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. When an account is deleted, Chase 36 deletes or de-identifies account-linked data unless a limited record must be retained for security, fraud prevention, or law.

Your choices

Signed-in users can download a portable copy of their account data, erase tutor conversations and revoke AI-tutor consent, or permanently delete the account from Settings. Users may also correct ACT profile details, remove friends, decline challenges, and contact support about access, correction, consent, or deletion.

Cookies and local device storage

Chase 36 uses secure authentication cookies. Timed answers may be temporarily stored on the device so a weak connection cannot silently erase work. That local queue is removed after the server confirms receipt. Essential operational measurements may be recorded to diagnose failures and understand feature use.

Security

Chase 36 uses access controls, encrypted transport, server-side answer validation, database constraints, idempotent rewards, private friend relationships, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure. Report suspected account or data issues through the Support page.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page and, when appropriate, communicated in the product. Continued use after the effective date means the updated notice applies.
